Triggered Because Prisoners Killed, Local Residents Burn Police in Aceh

But the suspect died Tuesday (10/23) morning. The police have not been able to ascertain the cause of the suspect's death.


"After a while, people came and attacked the Bendahara Police Station, damaged it and burned a motorcycle," Misbahul said.


However, this incident was quickly prevented. A number of Aceh Tamiang police officers and personnel immediately went down to the scene of the incident. There were no fatalities in the incident.

Misbahul said, conditions in the post-science field were conducive. The Chief of the Regional Police gives attention in this case and acts against members if there is a procedure error.

"We urge people to maintain order and security in the surrounding environment and not be easily provoked by irresponsible parties," Misbahul said.

Regarding the deaths of detainees, the Aceh Regional Police Chief has dismissed the Treasury Police Chief to investigate the case.
